Meet Brian and Jacqueline, and hear the story of the family behind Los Cabos Missions for Christ.

A calling that became a way of life.
Our purpose is to share the love and hope of Jesus Christ through practical care and lasting relationships. We believe in offering a hand up, walking alongside families with dignity as they take their next steps.
The Beginning
We are the Ruple family. Our journey began in September 2017 when God placed a calling on our hearts to become full-time missionaries in Los Cabos, Mexico. We felt a clear purpose to serve the homeless, provide for underfed children, and share Jesus’ love with our neighbors.
After being commissioned by Altered Church in Painesville, Ohio, we sold our possessions, packed our lives into an SUV, and drove for seven days to Los Cabos.
Our children, Grace and E, moved with us to Mexico and shared the first eight years of this journey. After graduating from high school, they returned to the United States to attend college. We are grateful to God for the years we spent serving together as a family.
Faith expressed through care.
Our Community Center in Caribe Bajo is a place to meet neighbors, share meals, and serve together. Through meal programs, medical care, family sponsorship, English learning, and construction work, we seek to make Jesus’ love visible in everyday life.
Brian and Jacqueline co-lead the ministry alongside a local team, including Operations Director Mario Rubio Cota, Kitchen Director Vicky Sanchez, Head Chef Rosita, and Lead Sous Chef Doña Rafa. Volunteers and supporters bring their time, skills, prayers, and generosity to this shared work.
We pray that practical care opens the door to lasting relationships and the hope found in Jesus Christ. Every family is more than a need to meet. They are our neighbors.

What began with a calling in 2017 continues through the faithfulness of God and the people He brings alongside this ministry.
2017 · A family says yes.
Brian, Jacqueline, Grace, and E begin their journey in Los Cabos.
2024 · Building a place to gather.
Construction begins on the Community Center in February.
2025 · A new home for the ministry.
The ministry moves into the Community Center in March.
2026 · The kitchen opens.
The Community Center kitchen opens in January, creating a new space to prepare meals and serve neighbors.
We look ahead prayerfully, asking God to guide each next step. Through every season, our purpose remains the same: to share Jesus’ love and give Him all the glory.
